MY QUERRY IS REGARDING THE NAME OF THE COMPANY. CAN A NAME OF THE COMPANY BE KEPT AS "GUJARAT RESOURCE PVT LTD"?
MY REASONS FOR CONFUSION ARE
1ST THAT IT CONTAINS THE NAME OF A STATE
AND
2ND THAT THERE IS A LISTED COMPANY IN THE NAME OF GUJARAT NATURAL RESOURCE LTD.
IS THIS NAME VALID?

The name will not be allowed since it contains the word Gujarat. Please see clause (xv) of rule 8(2) of Companies (Incorporation) Rules,2014.
