Hi,
My pancard bears the name as Nalini Swaminathan and Faher's name as Balakrishnan. My consultant, by oversight had filed my returns in efiling long back mentioning as Balakrishnan Nalini. My form 16 depicts S Nalini. Now this year when I try to invest in Canrobeco, they have rejected my application stating that the name mismatches between pancard and the income tax efiling returns.
Could anyone of you please advice as to how it has to be sorted out.

1. Try with a notarized affidavit for the said investment purpose.
2. Log in to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in, go to 'profile settings' - my profile , and correct your name therein so as to match with PAN data base, to avoid future issues.
