Monthly pension is taxable or not

dear concern,
my uncle is retired from Air force and now he is getting tension monthly, which itr form he needs to fill and pension comes under which head?
uncle has also income from bank interest.

Prescribed form is ITR-1.Pension is to be shown under 'income from salary'.
