Dear All,
We are registered as First stage dealer in excise and currently do only imported goods dealing.from 01.04.2014, separate registration required is imposed for dealer & importer.
Now i wish to know that
we have to take another registration as importer or modification in previous registration can be done.
Kindly advise for the same.

You have both option you can modify your registration and apply for new registration also. My view you should apply for new registration.
