Minor without PAN

PAN is needed in Share/MF/commodity account...so how can one buy in the name of their kids(minor)? Also, how this will be treated...as a gift/loan/some other?

Minor can apply for PAN card. Required form is Form 49A. Address and identity proof of any of the parents or guardian of such minor shall be attached with the above form along with a fee of Rs.94/-per application.
