Hello Experts,
Our co. manufactures conveyor belts. Raw material used is all types of steel (M.S., S.S.). So what is the annual sale amount on which excise would come into existence for our company.

Hi Tejinder,
from ur query it appears that u are a small scale company. for a small scale company when the turn over exceeds rs 90 lakhs u have to intimate the excise department and when ur turnver exceeds rs 150 lakhs u have to pay the duty.
