05 April 2012 can anyone please tell me the maximum number of articles a CA can employ.is there any law regarding it , if yes then can anyone please provide me the link

05 April 2012 ACA can employee maximum of 2 articles whereas FCA can employ upto 10 article students.

Maximum Article:

An associate or fellow in continuous practice for any period from 10 years. (10 Articles)

An associate or fellow in continuous practice for a period up to 3 years. (1 Article)

An associate or fellow in continuous practice for any period from 3 years to 5 years. (2 Articles)

An associate or fellow in continuous practice for any period from 5 years to 10 years.(7 Articles)

05 April 2012 thank you mr Ajay ..........now my another question is if a ca has 10 artilces then can he employe one more on the papers (form)...if there is completeion of articleshp of another article after 1 month

Further, as far as your last query is concerned, the articleship of the new article will commence only after the completion of that another article.

06 April 2012 but cant he(CA) atleast sign the form of articleship of new article though he has completed 10 articles ...and the practical training will start after completeion of one of the exisiting articles i.e after 2 months

06 April 2012 HE CAANOT APPOINT AN ARTICLE UNDER HIM UNTIL THE TRAINING OF THE OTHER ARTICLE IS COMPLETED.
