15 June 2014 sir, I want to ask that if we do the graduation from a university and the marksheet of that class have any problem like name of student is is change by wrongly entered by one alphabet like for instance in name ram the university wrote it rama then after 5year of getting marksheet how can we change it please tell me full procedure

15 June 2014 u must write to teh unvisersity on a plain paper but why u waking up after 5 years they may question u now>?

the process will vary from university to university. please check up with administrative department of the university for the required process.

16 June 2014 sir, i am student of dbrau. my father worked out of country and there were no any scope to correct the marksheet at that time but now my father come in india so that I told tham that problem,so that we gave the marksheet to retired cleark of a degree collage who take some money and provide me marksheet but on the face of marksheet placed duplicate.so that I am very tensed about it. it is the question of my capital of my wole life contribution, and the cleark have also taken the original marksheet of that class and said that it is requirement of university,and I have no any proof that the marksheet which have provided to me is correct. so please sir resolve this full query.

16 June 2014 you dont have to worry. the marksheet has been correctly marked duplicate. thats the standard procedure.

16 June 2014 sir,but what about original.i mean which marksheet can be called original in this case.

16 June 2014 it is a general practice that original marksheet has to be compulsorily returned to the university before corrected marksheet is issued

16 June 2014 having a duplicate stamped on your marksheet is a normal thing and you dont have to worry.

for eg: take a look at this page http://www.nios.ac.in/student-information-section/procedure-for-correction-in-the-admission-rceords.aspx

it says "revised corrected documents will be issued only if you have submitted the documents (Mark sheet, Migration or Provisional Certificate or final certificate) with incorrect details issued to you by NIOS along with your application."

16 June 2014 sir, if I use duplicate placed marksheet for making passport then it will not problematic for me, is this correct and whether any proof of this correction should also find by me from university
