Can a person become Whole Time Director or Managing Director in more than one Pvt Ltd Company? Please provide the relevant section.

Yes, a person can be MD/WTD in more than one company if company articles permit.
The provision of Companies Act, 1956 relating to appointment of MD/WTD/Manager is not applicable to private limited company.
So you are free to appoint in private company.
