29 October 2012 Is there any guideline regarding the managerial remuneration of the directors of a PRIVATE limited company which is NOT a subsidairy of a public limited company.Is there any limit on the maximum remuneration payable to the directors of such company.

29 October 2012 Hi,

No, the remunerations of directors of private limited company is totally govern by its articles. If article are silent then you are free to decide the remunerations of directors of private company.

The provisions of Companies Act, 1956 relating to remunerations of director is not applicable to private limited company.
