07 April 2009 wht is macro in EXCEL and can pass some site link who has such ???

08 April 2009 It is meant for recording

for suppose u were to send a letter to the employees working in ur organisation

u need not type the body of the letter as it is same

it is easy with Macros

08 April 2009 Go to tools
macors
record new macros

u will get a dialogue box (record macor)
click on ok


then u write some thing or draw something

it will be recorded

u can find a box recording wat ever u are doin

click on the first icon of that box
it will stop recording




08 April 2009 then open another excel

then go to
tools
macors
macors


select the macor

click on run

automatically wat ever u have typed will be displayed

06 June 2009 macros is useful in doing repeated task . u can use it when ever u have to do the same task again & again the simple way to create a macro in excel is to record macros......if you are using excel 97-2003 then

Tools----macros------record new macros

follow the instruction and
do your task which u want to do again and again
after that stop the recording of macro...

now press the shortcut key ,which u had entered while recording macro



take care of absolute reference or relative reference of cell
