Agreed with Expert.

The MCA has given facility to trace DIN without having DIN.

Kindly, confirm, whether such person is already a director of other company or not.

22 September 2013 * Register in www.mca.gov.in and obtain userid and password if not obtained earlier.

* Log in to www.mca.gov.in.

* Under 'eforms' click on 'companies/ LLP's in which person is/was director/designated partner'.

* Click on the magnifying glass emblem appearing along side DIN/DPIN

* In the coming window enter director's name, father's last name and DOB of director and click on 'search'

* DIN, along with other details, will be displayed in the screen next appearing.

22 September 2013 Ajay Sahab...even that is not necessary..even if the he/she has no active or past directorship, it still can be searched.

Mr. Nikhil...

In answer I have given two options. First you can trace from searching DIN section. Warrier Sir, has given the detailed process for that.

Secondly, if he is a director of other company, the the person can views his DIN from that company signatory details.

Hope you got the answer.

22 September 2013 Absolutely Ajay Sahab,

I was saying the same thing that even present directorship is not necessary.
