09 May 2009 Dear All,

Loss incurred on account of Income received twds Rent on Let Out Property can be mentioned in the declaration given by the company for working of TDS on salary
If Yes than the company can take into consideration the Loss incurred twds Rent on LOP and the same can be set off towards TDS payable arising on salary income

09 May 2009 yes. The loss from house property can be declared to the employer and he can take the same in account for deducting tax at source from salary.

09 May 2009 Continuing Mr.Rajesh, while taking into account the loss from house property,employer shall ensure that the assessee files declaration in form no 12C(w.e.f 1/10/2003 in a self declaration statement on a plain paper) and encloses therewith a computation of such loss from house property.
