Llp name and private ltd co. name same???

01 May 2012 Respected sir,
If there is already a name "ABC Private Ltd." registered under companies Act, 1956

Then

Can I register the LLP with name "ABC LLP"??
Please tell me... can this possible if it is registered under Different Acts????

If a company is registered with a name and such name is not strike off from the Register of Registrar then such name will not be available to any other person unless it is a group company.

You can not registered an existing company name as LLP nature company.
