Sir, I am a building contractor,doing only labour job (without material) I want to know, what is the limit upto which we are not eligible to pay service tax.

If your taxable services provided in pr yr is less than Rs. 10 lakhs then you are admissible for Rs. 10 lakhs basic exemption this year.
If exceeded last year then liability starts from re.1.
