If a person receives money from bank as a nominee from relative(not legal heir) and then transfer the same to legal heir . What is the tax liability on that person?

If the Nominee has performed his duty as per wish of the deceased owner (here relative), there would be no tax liability over the nominee. He has to prove the legality of his action.

No liability of nominee, untill he/she has performed his duty as intimated by deceased owner.
