Can two foreign company start a new business in india with their joint venture. Can they start on 100% FDR. what is the the cost of establishment?

Hi Rekha,
Kindly note that FDI in India is permitted vide the Automatic Route (Without RBI/ Government approval) or vide the Govt Route (where Approval required from FIPB for investment. Moreover there are certain sectors which are prohibited in certain sectors like real estate, nidhi company, atomic energy etc.
You would need to provide more details as regards the background of foreign companies and their business which they propose to start in India. Moreover, you would need to specify if the business is a new one or the existing business of foreign companies in whcih they have experience in.
