i m unable to understand.what should i do for my "project".my project title is "inventory management"which is given by teacher.i have to make atleast 25 slides .......plz help

28 December 2009 Include the following aspects in the project taking assumption of a Mall :

1. Large number of Inventory Items (many of them slow moving)

2. Cost involved in Inventory

3. Various types of credits and incentive available from creditors

4. EOQ Model

5. ABC Analysis

6. Placement of order : from selected buyers only and their regular review according to new suppliers in the field.

6. Stores management : control over theft etc.

7. Inspection of inventory at the time of receiving goods.

8. Issue of Raw Materials.

9. Quality of Finished Goods

10. Treatment of abnormal items

and ...... 11 ....25 prepare yourself.

28 December 2009 I have given you the ideas, make short title/pictures as under :

1. Large number of Inventory Items (many of them slow moving) : Show by Picture Stock lying unused for 6 months ( may be due to new version of article in the market)

Heading : Idel Stock lying 6 months

2. Cost involved in Inventory : Figures 25 crores of Stock (needed Rs.15 crore only)

3. Various types of credits and incentive available from creditors :

Check according to the gross profit ratio

4. EOQ Model: show the formula

5. ABC Analysis : show the diagram

and so on ......

29 December 2009 Of course ! You should include "utility and benefit" part in introduction. Otherwise who will be interested to see your project ?
