without asking the personal assets of a person, how deparment will judge the finacial position and actual income of a person .what is the actual intension of the department in not asking personal assets please some one discuss

17 April 2014 income tax department has already starting asking for the same in some cases. please refer ITR4.

further, tax department has various ways of collecting data - annual information report being one of them.
