25 March 2018 After filing the return for AY 2016-17, before 31st March 2018, can we file a revised return after two months in case it is necessary.

25 March 2018 no. 31 March 2018 is the last date for filing any return under section 139(4) or 139(5) of the Act for AY 2016-17 and 2017-18.

25 March 2018 No... You can't revise Your ITR if You are filed u/s 139(4) In AY 16-17... But, You can revise AY 17-18 if You are filed u/s 139(4). The option available in AY 17-18...

25 March 2018 You cant revise belated return. If you file return on time & assessment is not complete till now, then you can revise it.

We can't Revise the ITR AY 16-17 if filed after due date...

But,
We can file revise return AY 17-18 if it's belated return. Also it's available in AY 17-18...
