Dear Friends / Experts,
Query
Can someone advise, what is appropriate to fill in the Income Tax Return for the mandatory field ‘Flat / Door / Block No’, when there is no information to provide for in the said field? (Note: Is it appropriate to fill just a ‘dot’ or ‘NA’ or 'NIL' in the field?)

You may note that if any numeral is filled, then it may relate either with 'Flat / Door / Block No’, which may not be appropriate to my requirement, as no information is available to be provided for in that specific field.

My office use a .(dot) which will work out, but I personally feel PAN data base to be corrected with full address before filing ITR as a matter of prudence.
