An individual is employed for the part of the year and he receives salary. He retires and for the other half of the year he receives pension. In ITR 1 under nature of employment which category has to be chosen as a Pensioner or State govt?? Do we have to see the status as on 31.03.2020

There are no two separate options in ITR 1 for showing 2 different salary income. You have to club both the income. So its better to select the employment status as on 31st March 2020 which is pensioner.
