20 November 2014 Both are used in relation to e-filing of income tax return.

When you upload the return WITHOUT digital signature then ITR V (Verification Form) is downloaded. This is to be signed & sent to CPC Bangalore.

When you upload the return WITH digital signature then Acknowledgement Form is downloaded. This is NOT required to be sent to CPC.
