25 November 2013 Can an Educational Society give salary to its Director for the services he renders to the society?

Will it be allowable as an expense to the AOP?

25 November 2013 Yes it is allowed and there is no restriction on it.

26 November 2013 There is no provision which actually disallows such exp so by negative analogy it can be concluded that its allowed.

If member of AOP still allowed as there should be specific provision disallowing it....so which is not there and hence allowed even for AOP as its related to the business.
