Is it necessary to disclose all assets in it return

Could anyone of you confirm whether we need to disclose the details of houses, Plots or flats while filing the income tax return.

If the total income exceeds Rs.25 lakhs and the assets are not shown in the balance sheet, then particulars of such assets has to be given in IT return.
