28 February 2012 Dear Sir,
Please let me know:
1.Is it legal to have two Form 16 from 2 different employers for the same period simultaneously.

2.How do I compute income tax using 2 form 16's

3.Will the exemption limit remain the same or it will double up?

Kindly throw some light and help me to calculate.

28 February 2012 A person can earn salary from more than one employer simultaneously. There is no prohibition in law.

The exemption limit will remain same and will be applied to total income. i.e., after adding income from both the employers.
