22 April 2014 Can any one help me
I have taken service tax with category work service contract.
I did Installation of Electrical cables at site.now I want to prepare Invoce of total amount 100000.I can not divide material & labour seprately.So pls tell me what should be amount or rate of Vat & service tax applicable. Also the customer is a company and will be paying 75% of service tax.

plsss help me.

22 April 2014 Dear Almas,

If this is works contract service then why the customer which is a company is paying ST @ 75% . In case of Works Contract ST is leviable on 40%,70% or 60% of the total value of service. please clarify.

Service Tax should be shown only which is your liability to pay or of the service receiver is liable to pay separately.

On what basis company is ready to pay ST on 75% of Value ?

22 April 2014 Sir, This is a coporate company. and on reverse charge mech they will pay service tax.
please kindly tell me how I should make the invoice & at what rate and on what amount vat & service tax will be charged.
