Invalid PAN error

Hi,
I have recieved e pan on my mail on 2nd june, however, when i'm trying to pay tax or register on income tax website, it shows error as "invalid PAN". Also since the past week i'm trying to connect to Income tax customer care but i'm unable to do so as the number is always busy.
Can someone give me a solution for the same?

could be a data replication issue within ITD system as it is a new PAN allotment.

just making an update so that this post night be helpful in future
my pan became valid the moment i received shipping number from nsdl.
