If i am having a profit of 50 lacs as short term capital gain from shares treated as investment
and on the other hand i am having a loss of Rs. 40 lacs in purchase and sales of shares which are not treated as investment and also no stt is dedcuted
can the the profit of 50 lacs be adjusted with loss of rs. 40 lacs

NO. PROFIT OF 50 LACS CAN NOT BE ADJUSTED AGAINST LOSS OF 40 LACS, AS 40 LACS IS NOT CAPITAL LOSS.
