09 May 2012 Dear All,

We have filed income tax return online. However intimation received from banglore reflects demand as advance tax figure is not displayed in form 26 AS Regarding this we have done the mail informing that advance tax credit is not taken in the intimation on ask@incometaxindia.gov.in. After our persual , advance tax figure is also reflcected in form 26 AS. Now the problem is how to intimate to the income tax department regarding this and ask them to cancel the demand?

09 May 2012 Dear Sir,

How should I file rectification as in previous income tax return we have mentioned advance tax figure correctly?

09 May 2012 You have to file an online rectification application.
