Intimation u/s 143(1)

20 February 2014 I received an intimation u/s 143(1) for AY 2013-14 demanding for the payment of Rs 2300 and this tax is arrived by adding agricultural income 20000 but i have no agricultural income in the relevant year,so how to reply to this?????

20 February 2014 Did you file an electronic return or a manual return?
If you filed an electronic return, check the return and ensure that you did not fill agricultural income details.
If you did, then file a revised return otherwise file a rectification application.

21 February 2014 1. Check your excel utility whether you filled agricultural income details.

2. If you did, then file a revised return.

3. Otherwise file an ONLINE rectification application.
