whether intimation is an order as per income tax act? kindly give the reference of provision for the same.

An intimation under Section 143(1) is not an assessment order, becuase Section 143(1) is PROCESSING OF RETURN and not ASSESSMENT OF RETURN.
An intimation under Section 143(1) is deemed to be a notice of demand under Section 156 as per proviso to Section 156.
