Can anybody please tell me the calculation of interest u/s 234C for AY 2012-13, if my tax liability is 96985 and i had paid the advance tax of Rs.95000 on 15/03/2012.. .

I think you Received CPC order !!!
They calculated your interest Liability as Rs xxxxx /- you shocked to see that figure
Go to Share Files section and download 234ABC interest calc to know exact amount of interest you need to charged.
I think dept will be mostly right
calc upto 15/03/2012
since adv tax should be paid by due dates!! but you have paid only at end 15/03...
