F.Y 2010-2011 Service Tax Payable amount will be received for current year, so how to calculate the service tax interest or calculation.
Eg:
Inv. Dt. 30-08-2010 (Service Oriented)
Service tax ( 10.3%) amount rs. 4412
This amount received for 05.06.2012

First of all, you should clarify whether the service provider is an individual, or firm or company etc.,
Whether the service provider has shown this income in the ST 3 Return or not? If so, in which period. This is required to answer the query. Other than individuals, firms, the date of payment is 5th september 2010 and therefore apart from service tax interest is also will be levied.

I am service provider so service tax will be levied for the invoice. F.Y.2010-11 receipt basis,F.Y 2011-12 service/invoice/receipts wise.
Eg:-
20.08.10
Invoice Amount 100000
S.T (output)10.3% 10300
amount receipt date 02.06.12
Rs. 110300.
How to calculate in Service Tax the above mentioned.
