Interest on Housing Loan

We have taken housing loan both in the name of me and my husband jointly. Bt interest on that loan is paying my husband. Whether we both can claim the deduction or my husband only.

If the property is purchased and registered in the joint names of husband and wife, both of them can claim the benefit of section 24(b)either at the percentage of right mentioned in the property document or in the absence, in equal proportion.
