Whether ITC available of GST paid on repair & maintenance of office building & whether ITC available of GST paid on Painting works.

01 November 2017 Yes you can avail as same is for furtherance of business.. If such work is of capital nature & you claim depreciation on it then no ITC available to you. For more details you can refer Sec 17 of CGST Act

02 November 2017 Thank you respected sir n mam. Dear Raja sir my expenditure is not in the nature of capital expenditure and we are not going to take the benefit of depreciation under section 32 and its a normal expenditure. In simple every year we expend such type of expenditure on repairing and painting & even building is not in the name of our company and it is on rent.
In such a case can't we avail benefit of ITC?
