Increase in Expenses but turnover doesnt increase

can any one provide me income tax order's for increase in expenses but turnover doesnt increase in the same proportion

expenses may be incidental , viz repair and maintanance ( accidental), .........
however if regular nature of expenses increase then turnover is bound to take increased, if not taken place then there should be a valid reason for this.
