30 November 2013 how can a fresher bank probationary officer save tax getting 4.5 ctc included lease accommodation, fixed conveyance allowance , ex gratia and cleaning allowance

30 November 2013 Dear Aashish,

The banks have a very well defined salary structure covering allowances and perks as per the internal policy. so as much tax benefit is available to you under such provisions, shall help in reducing tax liability. I don't think the banks allow the employees to structure their salary payouts.

Also, relief such as 87A etc also reduce your tax liability.
