13 August 2011 sir,
i have filed return of an individual showing his around 150000.00 for both a.y. 2010-11 & 2011-12 but actually he is not getting that salary from the employer. i have shown the salary below exemption & e-filed the return through software. i have mentioned the name of employer in the software but not the PAN No. Is there any problem? Will the case come in scrutiny? Kindly give the guidance.

13 August 2011 no problem

13 August 2011 Problem may not be there. scrutiny also not possible. but showing income which you are not received actually is not good practice

13 August 2011 your case will come under scrutiny bcz u change the payment method.Bcz Salary cover all method like car facility, house, credit card etc

13 August 2011 show your inocme exactly what you have received, for your above case there is no problem at all. but if you insist to do in future also with lumpsump amount of income then you will have create a very big problem as own.
if dept. not take any action or not intimate or asking for your ITR its not means you are doing right things.

pls avoid these kind of practise filing with right income & tell also other who are doing

15 August 2011 You can file the revised return if the original returns were filed within due date and if the assessment has not completed as yet.
