Income tax notice u/s 142 (1)

11 January 2014 we converted a partnership firm into company on 30th march and filed IT return till 30 march and not filed return of company for 31 march because company exist only for one day.Is there any section which says that there is any need to file the income tax return of company for one day.so please give the appropraite suggestion.

11 January 2014 there is no section which says that income tax return is not to be filed if the company was in existence only for a day!!!

you are required to file the return...as plain as that...however, no tax audit is required...
