06 January 2014 you havent mentioned who is assessee etc and other required details.

cal total income (add all the income from all heads)

Deduct chapter viA deduction and find out net income.

apply slab rate like for individual it is 0-2,00,000 nil rate etc

then finally add 3% EC & SHEC on income tax
