24 June 2010 How to find out employers contribution towards gratuity and insurance.My client gave me form 16 but in that information is not given regarding this.

24 June 2010 Gratutiy need to be added salary if exceed the exemption limit, if below the exemption limit will not appear in form 16

Group Insurance schemes are exempted so this also not appear in Form 16

24 June 2010 EMPLOYER'S CONTRIBUTION TO INSURANCE AND GRATUITY WILL NOT BE SHOWN FORM 16 IN AY CASE.

IN CASE OF RETIREMENT/LEAVING OF COMPANY, GRATUITY IS SHOWN IN FORM 16 ONLY IN CASE OF PAYMENT OF GRATUTIY IS MADE AND IT IS EXCEED FROM EXEMPTION LIMIT . .
