My mother is a retired teacher and received retirement benefits
My query is
Whether I should use ITR 1 or ITR 2 because my mother received retirement benefit from the Government of Tamil Nadu which is exempt from tax during the FY 2009 -2010
What details should I mention under the head Details of the Employer : Whether School Headmaster or Pension Paying Officer or Bank Official as my mother receiving pension through E.C.S. system

ITR -1 is recommended.Is the employer ie the school paying the pension to the mother.if the mother is in receipt of pension from the hands of the school management then the employer responsible is school .

If ITR 1 is recommended then how can I show the details of retirement benefits which are exempt from Income tax Please help me.
