27 August 2012 yes. possible with submit all the returns & along with request letter to restore the registration along with proper reason for non filing of return to your LVO

need further help that after restoration it will be continueing tin no.?BCZ THAT propritorship business is running and he got notice from sales tax for showing return copy after which he attended the hearing but lateron without calling this cancellation is happened .today all of sudden he saw cancellation on sales tax website.so not sure that non filing of return will be a reason but apperantly as of now i guess that is the only reason bcz no correspondence hapopend ffrom dept other than that notice. ur response wil be highly appreciated

27 August 2012 Yes. same TIN number only. non filing is a procedural default. it just hold your TIN for default period. once the cleared and LVO accepted, your TIN number will be restored
