PLEASE TELL ME
THAT HOW MUCH SHOULD BE HRA ON
BASIC AND DA IF HOME TAKE SALARY IS RS.
100000/-( FOR PATNA BIHAR )


AND NEXT ONE Q. IS

WHAT WILL BE TDS RATE OF DIRECTOR
I MEAN HOW MUCH TDS SHOULD BE DEDUCTED OF
DIRECTOR IF HE IS GETTING 100000/MONTH HOME TAKE

30 May 2011 Normally 40 to 50 % of basic + DA goes in HRA. There is no strict rules for that.

But keeping the Income tax benefit in view....(for PATNA)....one should go for 40% of basic + Da as HRA as that will be the maximum HRA benefit one can get.

rate of TDS....

Just calculate the annual salary of the Director & apply the individual income tax slab. the annual income tax has to be deducted over the whole year. So the best way to estimate the annual income tax on his salary... divide the same by 12 & deduct the TDS every month.
