15 February 2012 I want to clear whether I can take benefit of interest on Home loan & HRA exemption both if I am residing in the same city in which our owned property is located .Distance between office & Rental property is about 12 KM while distance between office & owned property is about 24 km.
Please advise us.

15 February 2012 You cannot claim claim both HRA & Housing interest together while staying in same city

HRA or housing interest any one you can choose as per your tax benefit
