One of my Employee worked in Bangalore and he transferred to Hyderabad his family is at Bangalore and he is paying rent for Bangalore and Hyderabad he provided Bangalore Rent receipt but his work place is Hyderabad can i give exemption of HRA for rent paid in Bangalore?

Since work place is Hyderabad, rent paid in Bangalore will not eligible for deduction

Rent till transfer rent paid to be considered, after transfer he has to claim for work place only.
