13 January 2014 If a person takes Loan from bank for for purchase plot & Construction the same , later ha has no willing to construct the home he also availing facility of HRA exemption ,
Can he avail the facility of home loan exemption & HRA exemption both?

Int. on Loan for Purchase of Plot is not available.

13 January 2014 Hello Sir,

1-Suppose construction is going on and assessee has paid first installment of Loan can he claim Intt. & HRA both if Yes than how much Intt.?

2- My co. is availing a facility of internet from a Private company name AXN Telecom and we are getting an invoice for rs. 12360/ month and posting it as Postage & Telephone Exp. should we deduct TDS from this?

As per 24(b) of IT Act, Loan should have taken purely for purchase or construction of house property then it is allowed.

Yes you can claim both HRA & Int. in above case if you are not occupying any other residential property on same place.
