How to get benefit form loss in derivatives(f&o)

30 July 2012 Can you please explain how can i get benefit from loss in option(Derivatives) trading where I am into business.
I am into tours & travels business where my income is Rs 500000 and my rent income is Rs 200000 and in the same year I have made loss of Rs 300000 in option trading assume that there is no other income.
Please explain how can I take benefit of my loss for current year.

31 July 2012 Trading in derivatives is a NON SPECULATIVE business just like any other business.

Accordingly, loss in such business can be set off against income from your tour business.
