How to file incometax returns from ay 1995-96 to till date

20 July 2012 Dear Experts, My friend father now he is a senior citizen paid advance tax of Rs.8000 to 10000 approximately every year.He have failed to file IT Returns. My query is will he file his return from the earlier periods or else freom Assessment Year 2011-12 onwards. Please clarify me. Will he face any problem in this regard in future.Thanks.

20 July 2012 Only last 2 year can be filed now. belated return can be filed with in 1 year from the end of assessment year only
